This model represented one of the best of all Chrysler muscle cars, having a handsome bodystyle and the awesome Hemi V8. In standard form the car used a moonquake center section with chassis subframes front and rear, but this particular machine has been through what is known as 'back-halving' which means l lie back half of the car has had its stock suspension cut out to be replaced by a drag-racing four-link and coil-over-shocks. Also, to house the 18.5-inch (470mm) wide Mickey Thompson street/strip racing tyres, the car has been fitted with aluminium 'tubs' for inner arches which means the back seat and most of the trunk space has gone. The engine here has been modified by Dick Landy Industries and output is up by around half over the standard Hemi. A four-speed manual and 1.56:1 geared rear end put it down the quarter-mile in 11 seconds.
